I really like the way you've personified the page and the pen, almost. The way you've described it is brilliant and the imagery is pretty awesome as well.
I'm not too sure about that first full stop... I feel as if there should be ellipses, or maybe no full stops at all, if that makes sense?
The phrasing is great and I like the way you have described things, especially with the verbs that you have used.
